Job summary

Volkswagen Group Services in Palmela is seeking a Container Planner to develop and manage packaging concepts for projects in the region. You will work with CATIA and other modelling tools to propose concepts and support procurement and supplier coordination.

Fluency in English (German preferred) and a degree in Logistics or Mechanical Engineering are required, with several years of experience in logistics planning. The role offers competitive salary and opportunities for rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• 3 years minimum of experience in Logistics Planning (preferable).
• Experience in Planning Packaging Concepts.
• Good knowledge of CATIA or 2D/3D modelling tools.
• Fluency in English and German (preferable).

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts with the support of CATIA system.
• Propose concepts optimization with the support of CATIA system.
• Manage the special packaging development with partners.
• Follow up procurement process.
• Follow up with suppliers and make sure the timings are fulfilled.
• Follow up special packaging delivers on the different project phases.
• Manage the test of new containers and propose optimizations.
• Report Acceptance of new Packaging.
• Handover Documentation.
