Job summary

BlueDynamics in Funchal is seeking a skilled Concrete Worker for a part-time role with potential future full-time opportunities. You will pour, smooth and finish concrete surfaces and interpret blueprints to follow construction plans to ensure accuracy.

The ideal candidate has prior concrete experience, strong materials knowledge, and can work well in a team. Accommodation is provided; visa eligibility to work in Funchal is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Concrete Worker or similar role.
• Knowledge of construction materials measurements and techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans accurately.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare worksites by setting up scaffolding removing debris and laying out materials.
• Mix concrete according to specifications.
• Pour and spread concrete using hand tools or machines.
• Smooth surfaces using trowels or powered floats.
• Use levels and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
• Create joints or patterns on finished surfaces.
• Repair damaged concrete structures.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times.

We are hiring a skilled Concrete Worker to join our team in Funchal As a Concrete Worker you will be responsible for pouring smoothing and finishing concrete structures such as floors sidewalks and foundations You will also be expected to interpret blueprints and follow specific construction plans to ensure the accuracy of the finished product The ideal candidate will have previous experience in concrete work and strong knowledge of construction materials and techniques This is a part-time position with the opportunity for full-time employment in the future We offer competitive pay and provide accommodation for our employees Applicants must have their own visa or be eligible to work in Funchal

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this part-time position
