  • Translate analytical results into clear outputs for multidisciplinary R&D teams.

AI solutions and cross-functional enablement:

  • Identify and implement AI-based tools and platforms to enhance the company’s’ activities, including research and innovation workflows and business development.
  • Develop guidance, training and reusable workflows to support effective adoption.
  • Implement and maintain platforms for competitive intelligence, including monitoring of scientific publications, patents, clinical trials and market developments.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • MSc or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Proven background in bioinformatics and computational data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience evaluating, implementing or integrating AI-enabled tools into scientific or business workflows, including the ability to define use cases, test outputs, document limitations and support user adoption.
  • Experience using AI-powered platforms and tools for data analysis, information retrieval or decision support.
  • Experience analysing biological datasets, particularly omics data.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary R&D teams.
  • Self-initiative and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for applying emerging technologies to research challenges.
  • Excellent proficiency in English (mandatory); knowledge of Portuguese (desirable).

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Work with a multidisciplinary team developing innovative medicines, with a special focus on extracellular vesicle-enriched secretome technologies.
  • Annual gross salary within the range of €30.000–€40.0000, depending on the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications, plus meal allowance.
  • Flexible working arrangements, including the possibility of hybrid work.
  • Professional development through internal learning, workshops, conferences and relevant training.
