Accenture is seeking a Cloudflare Application Security Specialist to support the implementation, operation and optimization of Cloudflare App Security and Zero Trust solutions. You will protect web apps, APIs and user access, collaborating with security, cloud and IAM teams to strengthen the organization’s security posture.
Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in cybersecurity or application security, solid knowledge of web security, identity concepts and Cloudflare technologies, and fluent English.
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Application Security, Cloud Security or IT Operations.
- Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS, OWASP Top 10, Authentication and Authorization, API Security and modern web application architectures.
- Familiarity with Entra ID, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect and Zero Trust concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate security events and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ability to create clear technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
- Fluent English communication skills are mandatory.
- Legal: Must own a valid work permit or EU/Schengen Space Nationality to legally work in Portugal.

We are seeking a Cloudflare Application Security Specialist that will support the implementation, operation and optimization of Cloudflare Application Security and Zero Trust solutions, helping protect web applications, APIs and user access across the organization. This role is ideal for an early-career cybersecurity professional looking to build expertise in modern application security architecture while contributing to the protection and reliability of business-critical services.
In this position, you will work closely with security, cloud, identity and access management (IAM) and application teams to support secure application delivery and improve the organization's security posture. Through monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting and operational support, you will help identify and resolve security issues, strengthen access controls and support the continuous improvement of Cloudflare security services.
You will participate in the implementation, administration and optimization of Cloudflare WAF, API Security, Bot Management and Rate Limiting capabilities, support Zero Trust application protection initiatives, investigate application security events and contribute to the ongoing development of Cloudflare Application Security expertise across the organization.
