Job summary

Accenture CyberSecurity in Porto is seeking a Cloudflare Application Security Specialist to implement, operate and optimize Cloudflare WAF, API Security, Bot Management and Rate Limiting across web applications and APIs. You will collaborate with security, cloud, IAM and application teams to improve the organization’s security posture.

The role targets early-career cybersecurity professionals and involves hands-on work with Cloudflare technologies, Zero Trust initiatives, and security analytics,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT-related field.
2–3 years of experience in Cybersecurity or App/Cloud Security or IT Operations.
Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS, OWASP Top 10, API Security and modern web app architectures.

Responsibilities

Support implementation, administration and optimization of Cloudflare WAF, API Security, Bot Management and Rate Limiting services.
Assist with Cloudflare Access and Zero Trust initiatives and investigate security events.
Monitor logs and security events to support root-cause analysis and strengthen access controls.
Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
