Job summary

Decision in Lisbon is seeking a senior Cloud Systems Engineer to directly support the development team and collaborate with senior engineers on cloud initiatives. The role involves designing, implementing, and securing cloud-based solutions across Azure, AWS or GCP, leveraging Terraform or Ansible, and contributing to agile processes with Jira and Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software or computer/engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• English language proficiency (written and oral).
• Proven experience with one of Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience designing solutions in the public cloud.
• Knowledge of automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert / AWS Solutions Architect Associate / Associate Cloud Engineer.
• Established level of security practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the existing development team directly and actively participate with senior team members on cloud initiatives.
• Design and implement cloud-based solutions in collaboration with the team.
• Contribute to security practices and best practices in the cloud environment.
• Assist in adopting Agile processes and cross-functional collaboration.

Description: For the following position, it's expected to offer direct support to the existing development team, actively participating in the project alongside the senior members of the team.

Must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Language proficiency (written and oral): English;
• Proven experience with one of the following cloud service providers: Azure, AWS, or GCP;
• Experience in designing solutions implemented in the public cloud;
• Proven knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible);
• One of the following certifications:
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert;
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate;
• Associate Cloud Engineer.
• Established level of Security practices.

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in Agile methodology, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Portuguese
• Spanish
