Capgemini Portugal is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. You will design, build, and operate enterprise platforms and shared services, focusing on reliability and scalability.

This role requires hands-on cloud infrastructure experience, IaC, CI/CD, and scripting in Python or Bash. We emphasize collaboration, continuous learning, and a flexible hybrid work policy across Capgemini Portugal.

Qualificações

• Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electronic engineering or similar.
• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cloud Infrastructure.
• Observability: Experience with cloud-native monitoring services.
• DevOps: experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated release management.
• Infrastructure as Code: experience with one of the Cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Scripting & Automation: Python, Bash.
• Certifications are a plus.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate highly available, scalable enterprise platforms and shared services.
• Develop reusable platform capabilities, reference architectures, engineering standards, and self-service solutions that accelerate delivery across teams.
• Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, observability, capacity management, incident resolution, and continuous service improvement.
• Manage and evolve cloud and hybrid infrastructure platforms, including AI workloads, GPU-enabled environments, model serving, and data services.
• Architect resilient, cloud-native solutions optimized for performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation aligned with Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices.
• Automate operational processes, testing, and configuration management while promoting platform engineering practices that improve developer productivity and platform adoption.
