Abtrace is hiring a mid-senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design and manage our AWS environment, ensuring high availability, secure API management, and scalable data pipelines. You will align infrastructure stability with automated deployments via GitHub Actions and a developer-friendly stack using CodeArtifact and Datadog.

You will collaborate with Architecture, Software Engineering, and Data teams in a hybrid model with two days per week in the London or Porto offices.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in a Cloud/DevOps role within an AWS environment.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex cloud architectures.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and deployment security practices.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with Architecture, Software Engineering and Data teams.
• Experience using Checkov and Trivy for IaC security checks.
• Proactive in identifying and automating manual bottlenecks.
• Capable of making good decisions with evolving constraints.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and optimise AWS footprint including VPC design and secure networking.
• Oversee deployment and scaling of API Gateways and serverless functions.
• Design and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines and batch processing workflows.
• Own and improve GitHub Workflows for automated deployments.
• Utilise Datadog for observability and proactive alerting.
• Manage IAM, SSM Parameter Store, and Secrets Manager for a security-first architecture.
