Job summary

Nokia is seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect to lead architecture and development of cloud-native applications. You will design scalable microservices, model network data, and implement robust APIs for simulation and analytics.

The role emphasizes containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, event streaming, and governance practices across security and privacy, in a highly collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years of experience in cloud-native solution architecture and development.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native solution architecture.
• Hands-on containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and event streaming (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Solid knowledge of APIs, automation platforms, version control, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and governance, security and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Deploy Cloud-Native Apps: containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design Microservices: develop scalable, event-driven backend services in Python, Go, or Java.
• Model Network Topologies: implement data models (YANG, OpenConfig) and manage complex networks.
• Data Architecture: manage interconnected network data via Graph databases (Neo4j) and time-series pipelines.
• API & Integration: create robust gRPC/REST APIs to ingest data and expose simulation capabilities.
• Intelligent Automation: integrate AI/ML models into the data pipeline for predictive analytics.
