Job summary

DBServices, with strong roots in Portugal and Brazil, seeks a Cloud & Kubernetes Platform Engineer to implement and operate cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms. You will manage compute, networking, storage, and identity services, administer Linux systems, and automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.

Deploy containerized workloads with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.

• H hands-on experience implementing and operating Cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
• Advanced English.

We are looking for aCloud & Kubernetes Platform Engineerto implement and operate Cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms.

Tasks:

• Implement and operate Cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms.
• Manage Cloud compute, networking, storage and identity services.
• Administer Linux systems, including services, permissions, patching, hardening and troubleshooting.
• Provision and automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
• Configure and maintain Kubernetes networking and storage components (CNI, CSI, Ingress).
• Ensure monitoring, logging, alerting, backup and recovery.
• Manage IAM/RBAC, secrets and security practices.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and automate tasks using Bash and Python.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience implementing and operating Cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms
• Experience with Cloud compute, networking, storage and identity services
• Strong Linux system administration skills (services, permissions, patching, hardening, troubleshooting)
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
• Experience with Kubernetes networking and storage components (CNI, CSI, Ingress)
• Knowledge of networking and connectivity: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, TLS, SSH
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, backup and recovery
• Knowledge of IAM/RBAC, secrets management and security
• Knowledge of Git, Bash, Python and GitLab CI/CD
• Advanced English
