Who We're Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Enterprise Architect to join the Technology Architecture team within a fast-paced, international financial services environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Enterprise and Cloud Architecture, with proven experience in Cloud governance, architecture standards, technology strategy, risk management, and large-scale Cloud transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will act as a strategic advisor and architectural gatekeeper, ensuring that Cloud solutions are aligned with business objectives, security and compliance requirements, and enterprise architecture standards.
Professional Experience & Main Tasks
- Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Architecture, or Technology Architecture.
- Strong experience designing, migrating, and operating production workloads across major Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or IBM Cloud.
- Experience defining and enforcing Cloud governance, architecture standards, security policies, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Cloud migration strategies, portfolio assessment, risk management, and technology roadmaps.
- Strong knowledge of Cloud-Native architectures, Microservices, APIs, DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Experience integrating security practices and tools such as SCA, SAST, DAST, CSPM, and DevSecOps into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience developing architectural blueprints, design patterns, reference architectures, and technical standards.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and Risk Management frameworks, such as TOGAF.
- Experience performing Gap Analysis, SWOT analysis, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) assessments.
- Experience evaluating emerging technologies and supporting Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
- Previous experience in Banking, Financial Services, Payments, or Capital Markets is highly valued.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong governance, decision-making, and influencing skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with international and cross-functional teams.
- Strong focus on architecture quality, security, compliance, cost optimization, and business value.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements such as GDPR and DORA is a plus.
