KWAN in Lisbon is seeking a Cloud Engineer (Azure & Automation) to join a hybrid team, 2 days in-office per week. You will build self-service Azure platforms, create Terraform modules, and automate cloud tasks with CI/CD workflows.

You’ll work on secure, observable infrastructures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable rapid delivery. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in cloud engineering or DevOps, strong Azure knowledge, IaC with Terraform, and full-stack development skills across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps or software development in international environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure and public cloud architecture.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitHub Actions.
• Solid full-stack development skills: Java/Spring, REST APIs and JavaScript/TypeScript with React, Angular or Vue.
• Good understanding of cloud security, identity and governance.
• Experience with API and platform integrations (GitHub, ServiceNow, identity services).
• Scripting skills in PowerShell or similar.
• Experience with automated testing, monitoring and production operations.
• Nice to have: Kubernetes (AKS) and containerized workloads.

• Join a global cloud platform team building self-service products that make it simple for hundreds of application teams to consume Azure services.
• Create reusable Terraform modules, templates and workflows to provision and manage Azure resources across their lifecycle.
• Develop full-stack self-service applications and APIs that automate recurring cloud tasks and integrate with GitHub, ServiceNow and identity services.
• Build CI/CD workflows to validate and deploy infrastructure and application changes consistently across environments.
• Embed security and governance into every delivery, from access management and policy enforcement to secrets handling and auditability.
• Write automated functional, regression and deployment tests, and make sure solutions are observable and production-ready.
• Propose and implement improvements that reduce manual effort and speed up cloud delivery.
