Job summary

KCS IT in Porto, Portugal is seeking a Cloud Engineer (AWS) to join a forward‑looking team. You will work on technology transformation projects, applying Java/Kotlin with Quarkus, Kafka messaging, Angular 14, and NoSQL Dynamo.

Kubernetes and Terraform will be used to deliver scalable cloud solutions in close collaboration with clients. We offer a dynamic, international environment with training opportunities, insurance coverage and modern equipment.

Qualifications

• C1 level English is required.
• AWS certification is a plus.
• 6–10 years of experience in technology transformation projects.
• Strong background in Java/Kotlin with Quarkus.
• Proficient with Kafka, Angular 14, NoSQL Dynamo and Kubernetes.
• Experience with IaC tools Terraform.

Main Technical Requirements:

• C1 Level of English (direct contact with the customer);
• AWS Certification is a great plus;
• Strong background in JAVA/Kotlin with Quarkus development;
• Strong proficiency in messaging and streaming technologies like Kafka;
• Strong background in Angular 14 development;
• Strong knowledge of NoSQL (Dynamo) databases and Kubernetes;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools with Terraform;
• 6 to 10 years of practical experience in technology transformation projects;
