Shakers is seeking a Cloud Data Engineer for a freelance, long-term project with a leading professional services firm. The role is hybrid in Lisbon, with 2 days per week on-site. You will own data platform architecture, leveraging an Azure-native stack and Medallion patterns to deliver end-to-end data solutions.

We're looking for a Cloud Data Engineer to join a freelance long-term project with one of the world's leading professional services firms. Hybrid role — 2 days/week in Lisbon.

You'll be at the center of a serious data platform build: end-to-end architectures, Azure-native stack, Medallion patterns, pipeline optimization. Not a maintenance gig — this is a foundational role with real architectural ownership that evolves over time.

What you'll be working with:

• Data lakes & warehouses: Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, BigQuery, Redshift
• RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
• CI/CD pipelines for data solutions (DataOps)

What we're looking for:
