Quanteam, founding entity of RAINBOW PARTNERS, is seeking a Cloud Architect to join the Technology Architecture team in an international banking environment.

You will design secure, scalable cloud architectures, drive cloud migration programmes, and mentor teams while communicating decisions to technical and business stakeholders. The role requires 5+ years in cloud design, hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, Terraform and Ansible, and fluency in English; hybrid work in Lisbon.

• Drive and support cloud migration programmes moving workloads to internal cloud platforms.
• Develop architectural blueprints, design patterns and reference architectures for development teams.
• Advise teams on cloud-native architecture, APIs, DevOps, microservices and emerging technologies.
• Define and promote cloud security, governance, compliance and cost management standards.
• Hands-on work with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform and Ansible.
• Mentor developers and junior architects and communicate architecture decisions to stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus; hybrid position based in Lisbon.

We are looking for a Cloud Architect to join the Technology Architecture team of an international banking environment, contributing to cloud strategy, architecture and migration initiatives.

• Design and implement secure, scalable and resilient cloud architectures aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Drive and support cloud migration programmes, moving workloads to internal cloud platforms.
• Develop architectural blueprints, design patterns and reference architectures for development teams.
• Advise teams on cloud-native architecture, APIs, DevOps, microservices and emerging technologies.
• Define and promote cloud security, governance, compliance and cost management standards.
• Work hands-on with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform and Ansible.
• Contribute to the validation of emerging technologies and Proofs of Concept.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support teams throughout migration and transformation programmes.
• Communicate architecture decisions, risks and recommendations to both technical and senior business stakeholders.
• Mentor developers and junior architects and contribute to technology strategy and best practices.
• 5+ years of experience designing, migrating and operating production workloads in Cloud environments.
• Strong experience with at least one major Cloud platform: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or IBM Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud-native architectures, microservices, distributed systems and scalability/resilience.
• Experience with IaC, CI/CD and Cloud Design Patterns.
• Knowledge of Cloud Security / Secure Development Lifecycle, including SCA, SAST, DAST or CSPM.
• Experience with Cloud governance, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Strong architecture, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in mentoring, knowledge sharing and working across international teams.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• French is a plus.
• Hybrid position based in Lisbon.
• This role offers a gross annual salary between 40.000€ to 65.000€, defined according to the candidate’s experience and competencies.
