1GLOBAL is seeking an experienced Charging Team Lead to own and evolve our online and offline charging capabilities. You will guide the team responsible for real-time rating, charging and mediation, ensuring high availability and accurate event processing across systems.

Qualificações

• Proven technical leadership and people management experience in a team lead or engineering lead role.
• Strong knowledge of real-time rating, online/offline charging, and telecom billing flows.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Diameter protocol and network integration patterns.
• Solid CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Loki.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives with strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the charging engineering team day to day, set priorities and delivery plans.
• Translate business needs into technical designs and development tasks.
• Own the technical direction for the charging domain for scalability and resilience.
• Design, document, and communicate solution architectures.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance, code reviews, and engineering decisions.
• Act as SME for real-time rating, charging and mediation.
• Ensure integration between charging, mediation, billing, CRM/BSS, and network systems.
• Oversee configuration work and diameter-based network integrations.
• Contribute to capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Promote best practices in AI-assisted development, CI/CD, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure observability, security, and operational readiness.
• Participate in recruitment and uphold high standards.
