Caixa Mágica Software is seeking a Certified Accountant to strengthen its finance department. The role may evolve into an Accounting Manager based on experience. Responsibilities include ensuring proper accounting treatment and compliance with tax obligations.

Ideal candidates will have certification, accounting experience in a corporate setting, and knowledge of SAP and Excel. The position offers a permanent contract with benefits including health insurance and team-building events.

Qualificações

• Certification as a Certified Accountant is mandatory.
• Solid experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Team management experience will be valued for the Accounting Manager role.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the proper accounting treatment of the group’s companies.
• Ensure compliance with tax and reporting obligations.
• Perform bank reconciliations, accruals, deferrals, and periodic closings.
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial closings.
• Monitor the accounting organization of the various group companies.
• Work closely with the Finance Department and other team members.

We are looking to strengthen its finance department by hiring a Certified Accountant, with the possibility for the role to evolve into Accounting Manager, depending on the candidate’s seniority and experience.

Location: Benfica, in an area close to the train station.

Working arrangement:On-site.

What will you do?

• Ensure the proper accounting treatment of the group’s companies
• Ensure compliance with tax and reporting obligations
• Perform bank reconciliations, accruals, deferrals, and periodic closings
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial closings
• Monitor the accounting organization of the various group companies
• Work closely with the Finance Department and other team members

What are we looking for?

• Certification as a Certified Accountant is mandatory
• Solid experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate environment rather than in an accounting firm
• Team management experience will be valued for the Accounting Manager role
• Good knowledge of SAP and Excel
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility
• Good leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
• English is not required
