Caregiver for Elderly in Porto

We are hiring a compassionate and responsible Caregiver to provide support and assistance to elderly individuals in Porto. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, providing emotional support, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our elderly clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medication as prescribed by a doctor
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
• Monitor client's health and report any changes to the family or medical professionals
• Ensure client's safety at all times by being alert to potential hazards
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for the client
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings if needed

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred
• Must be physically fit and able to lift/move clients if necessary
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic towards elderly individuals
• Excellent communication skills in Portuguese (English is a plus)
• Must have own visa or be able to obtain one independently
• Accommodation will be provided if needed (preference for male caregivers)
