SwiftMove Logistics is seeking a Caregiver Assistant in Porto to support elderly or disabled clients with daily tasks. This full-time role includes on-the-job training and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the local community.

You will help with personal care, meal preparation, companionship, light housekeeping, and accompany clients to appointments, with flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Portuguese language skills are required; English basics are a plus.

Caregiver Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Caregiver Assistant in Porto. As a caregiver assistant, you will provide support and assistance to elderly or disabled individuals who need help with daily tasks. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help with meal preparation and feeding
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up
• Accompany clients to appointments or outings
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the supervisor

Requirements

• No previous experience is required, as we provide on-the-job training for this role
• Must be able to work full-time and be available for flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding personality
• Excellent communication skills in Portuguese (basic English language skills are a plus)
• Must be physically able to lift and assist clients when needed
