Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Lisbon is offering a Business Transformation & Project Management Trainee role. You will support priority projects across People & Organisation, Finance & Operations, and Regulatory Safety & Quality, turning ideas into practical changes.

No prior professional experience is required. You will gain hands-on exposure to senior stakeholders while learning project coordination, process improvement and AI-enabled ways of working.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Data Analytics, Optimisation or related field.
• Fluency in English.
• The ability to gather, organise and analyse information, and turn it into clear summaries, presentations and action plans.
• A basic understanding of project coordination, process improvement or change management.
• A curious, collaborative and proactive approach, with attention to detail and the confidence to take ownership while asking for guidance when needed.
• Openness to feedback and the ability to manage competing priorities as business needs change.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of affiliate-wide projects, including project plans, status updates, decision logs and action trackers.
• Organise project meetings and workshops, from agendas and documentation to stakeholder follow-up.
• Map selected processes, handoffs and pain points, and help identify where work can be simpler and more efficient.
• Collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative information to inform recommendations and project decisions.
• Research and help assess responsible AI-enabled tools that could streamline work, in line with company requirements.
• Support pilots, feedback and the adoption of agreed improvements, and capture what you learn to strengthen future initiatives.
