Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field, or demonstrate comparable experience.

• Experience in fast-paced startups or management consulting is a plus.

Business Generalist and Assistant to the CEO

This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a sharp analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and a passion for tackling complex problems in a fast-paced environment.

As a Business Generalist, you will work closely with the CEO, providing critical insights, managing key projects, and helping to shape the direction of the company.

Location

Lisbon / Amsterdam (Full remote or hybrid)

Based on previous experience and skills. Discretionary bonus based on personal and general business performance.

With Cryptorefills, we are on a mission to bring blockchain-based payments into everyday life and accelerate the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies.

Access to crypto investments, trading, and person-to-person transactions is relatively easy today. However, this only serves a limited scope of needs for these currencies. Using crypto in everyday life, such as buying goods and services, is instead very limited.

Cryptorefills is a website and app that enables users in over 180 countries and territories to spend crypto, including Bitcoin, stablecoins like USDC and USDT, and other digital currencies yet to come. With Cryptorefills, users can recharge their mobile phones, purchase gift cards from top brands like Netflix, Spotify, Google Play, and Apple, and even book flights and hotels directly using crypto.

The Company is a fast-growing fintech firm headquartered in Amsterdam, with a local presence in Milano and Izmir.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic support: Assist the CEO in the development and execution of business strategies, including market analysis, competitive research, and performance tracking.
• Project Management: Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and timely delivery of results.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data to provide actionable insights and recommendations on business operations, customer behavior, and market trends.
• Communication: Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and impact.
• Decision Support: Provide the CEO with data-driven recommendations and scenario analyses to inform decision-making.
• Problem Solving: Tackle a wide range of business challenges, from operational inefficiencies to strategic growth opportunities, with a hands-on and proactive approach.
• Relationship Management: Liaise with internal teams, partners, and clients, acting as a trusted point of contact on behalf of the CEO.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field, or can demonstrate comparable experience and knowledge.
• Technology and Blockchain Savvy: While programming skills are not required, the ideal candidate must be tech-savvy, with a strong curiosity for understanding technology. Additionally, they should be passionate or at least very familiar with the blockchain space and ecosystem, even if they don't have prior direct experience in the field.
• Experience: 1 or 2 years of experience in a high-performance environment such as management consulting, or a fast-paced startup is preferable but not a requirement.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to break down complex problems, interpret data, and develop actionable solutions.
• Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills (English), with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Initiative: A self-starter who takes ownership of projects and drives them to completion with minimal supervision.
• Adaptability: Comfort in navigating ambiguity and rapidly changing environments, with a strong learning agility.
• Tools Proficiency: Strong command of Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical and presentation tools. Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools is a plus.
• Mindset: A proactive and positive attitude with a strong desire to make an impact in a dynamic startup environment.
