The role involves identifying new business opportunities, acquiring clients, and maintaining relationships. Applicants must have technical knowledge in automation systems and be proficient in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. A higher education in Engineering is required.

Overview

We are looking for a professional with experience in business development within the industrial automation sector, and in the sale of
- time solutions (SCADA technologies, PLCs, industrial networks, etc. )

Based in Porto area working from
- office will report to the Sales Director for Iberia.

This position will count also with support from technical staff based in Aveiro / Porto area

Responsibilities
  • Proactively and consistently identify new business opportunities in the market.
  • Prospect and acquire new clients, while seeking out commercial opportunities.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients.
  • Attend industry forums and events to generate new business opportunities.
  • Support specific commercial campaigns launched by the company.
  • Qualify potential customers by identifying key makers.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations of technological solutions.
  • Present products to potential and existing clients.
  • Provide ongoing advisory services regarding our products and solutions.
  • Prepare offers and quotations, as well as managing negotiations and ups.
Desired Skills and Knowledge
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in the industrial automation sector.
  • Technical knowledge of automation systems: PLCs, SCADA (AVEVA experience would be a plus), HMI, high availability systems, and industrial networks.
  • Strong results orientation and proven ability in acquiring new clients.
  • Teamwork skills and leadership in executing professional duties.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and persuasion abilities.
  • Initiative, motivation, and commitment to the company.
  • High degree of autonomy.
  • Languages: Native Portuguese, with a high level of proficiency in both English and Spanish.
Required Education

Higher education, preferably in Engineering (Industrial, Telecommunications, Electronics, etc. ).

A Master’s degree in Industrial Automation or a related field will be highly valued.
