About the Role
At Prozeal Green Energy Limited, we’re accelerating the renewable energy transition across Europe. As we grow our footprint in Portugal, we're looking for a Business Coordinator to join our team and ensure the smooth execution of projects, local compliance, and collaboration between our teams in Portugal and India.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across borders, thrives on organizing projects, understands local regulatory landscapes, and can keep both technical and commercial elements in sync.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and support Solar and BESS projects in Portugal—from planning through execution—ensuring all technical, commercial, and compliance aspects are aligned.
- Act as the key liaison between Portugal stakeholders (clients, government authorities, vendors) and our Indian stakeholder/project teams.
- Monitor local and EU regulatory compliance, safety standards, and industry best practices, ensuring our projects meet or exceed all requirements.
- Assist in project documentation, progress tracking, and reporting to ensure transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide updates and analysis to senior management to support decision-making.
- Support contract management, proposal coordination, and business development activities, including market research in Portugal.
- Maintain strong cross-functional coordination, foster teamwork, and assist in onboarding or mentoring junior team members when needed.
- Manage multi-timezone communications, travel for site visits, and help ensure we meet project timelines and goals.
- Support the mobilization of workforce from India, including assisting with documentation, visa processes, and coordination with local authorities or consultants.
What You Bring
- A degree in Engineering, preferably electrical/electronic engineer, or a related field. Equivalent experience is also welcome.
- Certified electrical technician (Operador Elétrico Certificado) recognized by DGEG (Direção-Geral de Energia e Geologia) in Portugal.
- Experience of minimum 8 years in the renewable energy sector, particularly with solar and BESS projects.
- Strong understanding of EPC project workflows, from engineering to commissioning.
- Familiarity with Portugal and EU regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and compliance requirements in the energy sector.
- Excellent coordination, organizational, and intercultural communication skills.
- Fluency in English is a must. Portuguese/Spanish language proficiency is highly preferred.
- Able to work independently, manage timelines, and resolve challenges proactively.
- Willingness to travel within Portugal/Spain and occasionally other EU countries.
