• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in payments-related projects.
• Good knowledge of payment systems and standards like SEPA, SWIFT, ISO20022, PSD2.
• Understanding of reconciliation, settlement, and clearing processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (mandatory); French is a plus.

Position: Business Analyst – Payments Experience

Location: Lisbon

Hybrid: 2 times a week at the client’s office

Candidates must possess a valid work permit for Portugal

Mandatory Languages Required: and English (minimum C1) French (is a plus)

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in payments-related projects
• Good knowledge of payment systems and standards (SEPA, SWIFT, ISO20022, PSD2)
• Understanding of reconciliation, settlement, and clearing processes
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Fluent in English (mandatory); French is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements related to payment flows and financial transactions
• Work closely with stakeholders to define and document functional specifications
• Support the implementation of solutions involving SEPA, SWIFT, instant payments, and other banking protocols
• Collaborate with IT, Product Owners, and Finance teams to ensure process alignment
• Assist in UAT and validation of delivered functionalities
