Barco in Portugal seeks an Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day operations at the interface of operations, science support, and project coordination. You will help manage SOPs, records, and production documentation within a GMP/GLP framework.

The role involves coordinating with the Head of Operations, tracking project progress, and preparing management materials. Fluency in English and strong communication are essential in this regulated, high-impact environment.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or closely related field
• 1–2 years of professional experience in operational, scientific or project coordination
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
• Exposure to CDMO/CRO or pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing environments is valued
• Experience supporting cross-functional projects
• Comfortable in a regulated environment with GMP or ISO familiarity
• Strong written communication skills
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience with project tracking tools
• Familiarity with document management systems or quality management software
• Fluency in English

• Maintain records, logs and trackers relevant to manufacturing development activities

• Assist in training materials and onboarding documentation
• Support risk management activities within Operations, including risk registers
• Prepare for audits by organizing documentation and coordinating responses

Our client is recruiting an Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of their Operations department at the interface of operations, scientific support, and project coordination. responsabilidades chave

• Assist in the preparation, formatting and version control of SOPs, workinstructions and other controlled documents, in alignment with QA/QC requirements;
• Help maintain accurate and up-to-date records, logs and trackers relevant tomanufacturing and development activities;
• Assist in the preparation of production records, reports and meeting minutes asrequired;
• Support the implementation of good practices (GMP/GLP) documentation,ensuring that documentation workflows are followed and deadlines are tracked;
• Act as a coordination point for information flow between the Head of Operationsand the team leaders;
• Support the Head of Operations in tracking the progress of ongoing internal andexternal projects across research, development and manufacturing activities;
• Maintain project trackers, action logs and milestone summaries, flagging itemsat risk of delay;
• Help prepare materials for management reviews, planning meetings and cross-functional discussions, including slide decks, status summaries and data compilations;
• Coordinate logistics for project-related activities such as inter-team meetings,training sessions and review cycles;
• Assist in the preparation of training materials and onboarding documentation fornew team members;
• Assist in coordinating risk management activities within the Operations scope,including maintaining risk registers and follow-up action logs;
• Support the Head of Operations in preparing for internal and external audits, byorganising documentation and coordinating responses;
• Monitor open actions from quality and management reviews and ensure timelyfollow-up with the responsible parties.
