IQVIA in Portugal is seeking a Business Intelligence Consultant with a strong back-end focus to join our Lisbon team. You’ll help build robust data solutions and AI-ready semantic models that make trusted business data easier to understand, govern and use across analytics and AI-enabled applications.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, Business Intelligence or a related field.
• Typically 3+ years of relevant experience in BI, data engineering, analytics engineering or a similar back-end role.
• Strong SQL, ETL/ELT and data integration skills.
• Experience with technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Informatica Cloud or SSIS.
• Understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modelling and Kimball principles.
• Experience with data and semantic modelling for BI and analytics.

Responsabilidades

• Translate business and data requirements into practical data integration, back-end and semantic modelling solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformations and curated data layers.
• Build and evolve dimensional and semantic models, including relationships, hierarchies, measures and reusable business definitions.
• Help make data AI-ready through consistent terminology, metadata, governance and data lineage.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, data engineers, data scientists and front-end developers.
• Support data quality, performance optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Contribute across the project lifecycle, from requirements and design through development, testing and deployment.
