Accenture is seeking a Banking SME — Functional Expert to join our Lisbon practice. You will bring deep domain knowledge of banking operations, products, and regulations to design and deliver client solutions within transformation programmes.

You will capture requirements, define functional specs, and lead workstreams alongside senior stakeholders, contributing to pre-sales activities and risk identification. Fluent English and willingness to travel are required.

Qualificações

• In depth banking experience across products, processes and operating models.
• Ability to engage with senior business stakeholders in a banking environment.
• Experience in banking transformation programmes (e.g., core banking migration, payments modernization).
• Awareness of regulatory/compliance frameworks (PSD2, AML/KYC, Basel III, IFRS 9).

Responsabilidades

• Act as the banking functional reference on engagements, ensuring solutions align with banking business realities.
• Capture, analyse and document detailed business requirements with client stakeholders.
• Define and validate functional specifications covering processes, data, rules and controls.
• Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams during delivery.
• Lead or contribute to functional workstreams within banking transformation programmes.
• Provide domain expertise during pre-sales and solutioning phases, including RFP responses and product demonstrations.
• Identify business risks and functional gaps in proposed solutions.
