Komodo Consulting in Lisbon is seeking a Business Analyst to join a Banking project, focusing on financial interfaces, accounting schemes and reporting streams. The role requires solid experience in banking or financial services, strong Excel skills, and a Master's in Accounting or Finance, with English at least B2 and Portuguese language proficiency.

You will collaborate with IT and finance teams to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in banking or financial services.
• Knowledge of general accounting and/or banking accounting.
• Familiarity with banking products or capital markets products.
• Experience with financial information systems.
• Experience in project management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum B2 level of English, with Portuguese language skills required.

Responsabilités

• Manage functional solutions for financial interfaces supporting key reporting streams, including financial accounting, management accounting, liquidity, and credit risk.
• Define operational and accounting schemes, control frameworks, and data flow structures based on project requirements.
• Document functional and technical specifications for implementation by IT, financial systems, and engineering teams.
• Coordinate tasks and stakeholders across projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Support the evolution of the chart of accounts as required by the adopted solution.
• Contribute to testing strategies and carry out all accounting and reporting test phases.
• Ensure post-implementation support for reporting users.
