iCliGo is seeking a proactive Backend Software Tester to ensure quality and performance of our backend services. You will design and run automated tests for APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to prevent defects and deliver a flawless user experience.

Ideal candidates have a relevant degree, 3+ years in QA/testing, and hands-on experience with Java testing frameworks, APIs, and databases.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester.
• Solid experience testing backend systems with Java (JUnit/TestNG).
• Hands-on testing of REST, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs.
• Proficient in relational and NoSQL databases for test validation.
• Familiar with CI/CD and Git workflows.
• Strong QA methodologies knowledge.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with strong communication in a hybrid/remote setting.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and execute automated tests for backend services and APIs (REST, SOAP, and GraphQL).
• Develop and maintain API and integration test suites (functional, contract and regression).
• Identify, document, and track bugs; collaborate with developers to resolve them.
• Conduct performance, load, and reliability testing of backend systems.
• Ensure adherence to QA processes and best practices across the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to CI/CD tooling and workflows in QA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage.
