SIXT in Lisbon is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to be part of an innovative technology team. You will tackle complex technical challenges, build solutions using Java, and develop distributed systems in a cloud environment.

This role offers a flexible work setup with two office days a week, 28 vacation days, and a range of benefits including private health insurance that covers family members.

Qualificações

• Development experience in Java and familiarity with Spring or similar frameworks.
• Experience working in building cloud-native applications.
• Knowledge of designing distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Understanding of event-driven platforms and messaging brokers.
• Product-oriented mindset with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Understand business and processes to build effective solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation.
• Design and develop end-to-end distributed systems on the cloud.
• Build libraries and tools for microservices ecosystem.
• Work on event-driven systems and keep up to date with technologies.
