act digital in Portugal is seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator to support and optimize critical SQL Server environments integrated with Microsoft Azure. You will manage production databases, implement Always On AGs, and collaborate with development and operations teams.

The role emphasizes incident management, performance tuning, security governance, and smooth Azure service integration.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server administration experience.
• Strong experience in production support, incident management, and performance tuning.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server production databases.
• Administer Always On Availability Groups and Failover Cluster Instances.
• Investigate and resolve database incidents, performing root cause analysis.
• Execute production releases using Azure DevOps and UrbanCode Deploy.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning and T-SQL improvements.
• Manage Azure SQL and related Azure services.
• Ensure database security, permissions management, and documentation.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of database processes and operations.
