Responsibilities

• Lead IT system architecture, design solutions, manage vendors, software contracts and projects focused on cloud infrastructure and IP protection
• Architect robust cloud solutions that are scalable and meet the needs of solution development while ensuring solutions architecture adheres to appropriate regulatory requirements
• Evaluate new IT technologies and build effective solutions for NPD
• Architect end-to-end solutions using Cloud services and microservices (e.g., IoT and Container Services) and partner with key stakeholders (e.g., BU) to evaluate business needs
• Develop configuration management/application deployment using tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, and/or Chef) for assigned software products
• Perform complex software code review for products and may verify review from team members
• Lead in streamlining IT business processes impacting NPD
• Manage vendor relationship and harmonize needs across all stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned by Management: Provide coaching, mentoring and knowledge transfer to other team members

What you’ll need

• 10 years of related experience (Required)
• Bachelor\'s Degree in related field
• Certifications in related cloud disciplines
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Experience with hospital networks, server and network infrastructure
• Preferred: Experience with Design for Six Sigma or related product development methods and processes
• Preferred: Knowledge of Medical Device product lifecycle to provide technical leadership

What else we look for

• Demonstrated experience with best of Breed Solutions, Cloud Infrastructure and Software solutions
• Demonstrated experience with two or more of the following: AWS S3, Redshift, Azure DW, Azure blob Storage
• Demonstrated experience on best practices for AWS or Azure account setup, governance, and architecture
• Experience with system engineering for combined hardware, software systems
• Java, Python or other Object-Oriented Programming and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with software tools for requirements management, engineering analysis, and statistical analysis
• Demonstrated technical project management skills on multi-year projects with multi-functional teams
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Familiarity with container and resource management technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Mesos
• Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management with ability to drive objectives
• Recognized as an expert in own area within the organization with broad-based technical expertise
• Expert knowledge of Azure IaaS components (VMs, Virtual networks, Storage) and PaaS components (App Service, Serverless, Storage)
• Expert knowledge of AWS VPCs, Subnets, EC2s, routing; AWS Compute, Storage, IoT, Developer Tools
• Expert knowledge of IaC toolsets such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, PowerShell
• Ability to perform code reviews for Cloud Automation Scripts (Python, CloudFormation, PowerShell, etc.)
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and escalate issues as needed
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, EHS rules) and take appropriate control measures to prevent injuries and protect the environment
