Overview

AWS/Security Networking Engineer (Senior/Lead) ID42040 — AgileEngine

Join to apply for the AWS/Security Networking Engineer (Senior/Lead) role at AgileEngine.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize AWS networking solutions (VPC design, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, PrivateLink, Route 53, ALB/NLB, etc.).
• Define and enforce security standards in alignment with NIST and CIS benchmarks.
• Conduct network and security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and drive remediation plans.
• Support incident response and troubleshooting across the network and security stack.
• Automate routine tasks using infrastructure-as-code and security-as-code best practices.
• Partner with governance, risk, and compliance teams to maintain audit readiness.

MUST HAVES

• 3+ years of experience.
• Certifications: AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty; AWS Security Specialty.
• Networking expertise: Core networking concepts (routing, DNS, firewalls, load balancers); AWS networking constructs (VPCs, subnets, security groups, NACLs, Transit Gateway, etc.).
• Security expertise: Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and CIS benchmarks; hands-on experience with AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, Shield, etc.); understanding of encryption, key management, and secure data flows.
• Technical skills: Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform); familiarity with SIEM, intrusion detection/prevention, and vulnerability scanning tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative environment.
• English: Upper-Intermediate level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Working knowledge of developing basic REST API Services.
