DBServices Portugal is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join its international technology environment in Porto. The role focuses on supporting mission-critical AWS-based databases (RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL/MySQL) and Redshift, with production-focused performance tuning and on-call responsibilities.

Work will be in a hybrid Porto office setup (3 days/week on-site) and English is the working language for collaboration with teams across countries.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional Database Administrator experience in production environments.
• Strong hands-on AWS RDS experience with Aurora PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
• Experience with Amazon Redshift and database performance tuning.
• Ability to troubleshoot and manage workloads across multiple countries.

Responsabilidades

• Provide end-to-end support for the database layer of mission-critical services.
• Install, configure and administer AWS RDS/Aurora PostgreSQL/MySQL databases.
• Support and administer Amazon Redshift environments.
• Monitor, tune and improve database performance, availability and reliability.
• Participate in international projects and collaborate with teams across countries.
• Share knowledge and contribute to database technology decisions.
• Contribute to shift-based coverage and on-call rotation.
