Job summary
Adecco Permanent Recruitment is seeking a Sales Manager specialized in the Food Industry to drive business development and manage a portfolio of clients in Portugal. The role offers high autonomy with international contact and direct impact on growth.
The ideal candidate combines technical food sector knowledge with commercial focus and relationship-building skills to deliver long-term value to partners and suppliers in a leading global distribution company.
Qualifications
- Experience in sales in the food sector (preferably meat).
- Proven negotiation and business development skills.
- Good knowledge of English; driving licence.
- Availability for frequent travel in Portugal and some international travel.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of clients in the food industry in Portugal.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive growth in the area.
- Promote solutions and ingredients to leading food manufacturers.
- Manage commercial negotiations with national and international clients and suppliers.
- Follow up on projects and ensure high service and customer satisfaction.
- Visit clients regularly across the country; attend meetings and industry events.
