Job summary

JAC Products (Portugal) is seeking an industrialization/process engineer to drive the industrialization of new products within defined costs, timing and quality. You will promote improvements across manufacturing processes to boost safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities include designing layouts, defining work methods and cell balance, preparing tool specifications, and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to optimize production; a background in automotive manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience as industrialization or process engineer in industrial organizations.
• Experience in automotive industry.
• Knowledge of CNC/robot programming and milling (preferred).
• Experience in design, management and optimization of production processes.
• Excellent analytical and performance interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Industrialize new products within the costs, timing and quality defined.
• Promote the improvement of existing manufacturing processes, with a view to gains in Safety, Quality and Productivity.
• Define and design layout and processes, defining working methods, work cell balance, and determination of manufacturing times for new products and production objectives of work cells/lines.
• Prepare specifications and documentation for tools and equipment and its operating processes.
• Collaborate with all areas in continuous improvements.
• Interact with equipment suppliers assuring all requirements are accomplished, including tools, equipment, assembly fixtures or other equipment needed.
• Define manufacturing BOM’s.
