Job Description

• Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications for our automotive distribution and retail systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable software solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to ensure high performance and reliability
• Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and industry trends, applying them to enhance our software ecosystem
• Assist in the integration of automotive industry-specific software systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design principles
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
• Knowledge of database management systems and SQL
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of automotive distribution and retail processes is a plus
• Familiarity with automotive industry software systems is preferred but not required
