Job summary

Ecojob in Faro seeks a Dismantler Technician to disassemble and salvage vehicle parts safely and efficiently. You will identify usable parts, use hand and power tools, test salvaged components, and keep an organized inventory while following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have experience in dismantling or similar roles, solid knowledge of automotive parts, and strong attention to detail. English communication is required; Portuguese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in dismantling or similar role.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Able to use hand tools, power tools safely.
• Physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication in English; Portuguese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and remove usable parts from vehicles to be sold or recycled.
• Use various hand tools and power tools to dismantle vehicles.
• Test and inspect salvaged parts for quality and functionality.
• Maintain organized inventory of dismantled parts.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working with vehicles and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory and work orders.
