Adentis Portugal seeks an experienced Automation/DevOps specialist to design and maintain scalable automation using Ansible Automation Platform. You will implement VM lifecycle automation across VMware and Azure, build reusable automation standards, and integrate event-driven automation with ITSM tools.

Requirements include 5+ years in automation/DevOps, hands-on Ansible (AAP) experience, strong scripting (PowerShell/Bash/Python), and fluent English.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in automation, DevOps or infrastructure automation.
• 2+ years hands‑on experience with Ansible (preferably AAP) in production environments.
• Experience integrating automation with platforms such as VMware, Azure, Active Directory, Windows/Linux systems and APIs.
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash or Python).
• Experience with automation patterns, reuse and standardization.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• EU Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Residency.
• Availability to go to the office, once or twice per week.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain automation solutions using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), including playbooks, job templates, inventories and RBAC
• Build reusable, parameterized automation standards and maintain a structured automation catalogue for operations and support teams
• Automate VM lifecycle and platform operations across VMware and Azure environments, ensuring governance and traceability
• Implement event-driven automation (EDA) and integrate automation workflows with ITSM tools where applicable
• Automate common platform tasks (e.g., service restarts, VM operations, provisioning, remediation)
• Document automation solutions, including runbooks, KBs, rollback procedures and acceptance criteria
• Measure and track automation value through KPIs (adoption, success rate, MTTR impact, time savings)
• Collaborate with Observability teams to enable “detect -> respond” automation workflows
• Ensure automation solutions are secure, scalable and aligned with best practices
