Keenfinity Group, based in Portugal, seeks an Embedded Software Tester (Audio_PA) to join the firmware team. You will implement automated tests for Embedded software, focusing on reliability and safety-critical standards, and collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers.

The role emphasizes Clean Code practices, test automation design, and cross-functional coordination. Knowledge of Portuguese and English is beneficial as the team operates across regions.

Qualificações

• Bachelor-level degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience in testing embedded software.
• Proficient in Python and Linux.
• Knowledge of test techniques like boundary testing and equivalence partitioning.
• Affinity with hardware and safety-critical systems.

Responsabilidades

• Define and set up test framework to support automatic testing of the Software Under Test (SUT).
• Decide on which tests to automate and how.
• Define test cases and write scenarios and code to test against the specifications.
• Apply Clean Code principles to test artifacts.
• Determine which tests to execute daily or per release.
• Ensure smooth operation of daily testing and firmware staging.
• Automatically report test results.
• Submit defects of failing test cases.
• Documents changes to the design.
• Align with other testers to ensure sufficient test coverage.
