EY Cabo Verde/Portugal is seeking a qualified auditor to join the Assurance team, working on national and international engagements with EY methodologies. You will develop technical and analytical skills and build trusted client relationships.

The role requires an accounting/finance degree, audit experience, knowledge of standards, and ability to work in multicultural teams. Proficiency in English; Portuguese required.

Qualificações

• Academic degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Economics or similar fields.
• Relevant professional experience in audit or assurance.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and audit methodologies.
• Experience in a professional services or consulting environment is valued.
• Ability to work in multicultural teams and dynamic environments.
• Proficiency in English (Portuguese required).

Responsabilidades

• Participate in audit and assurance engagements for national and international clients, in compliance with EY methodologies and applicable professional standards.
• Execute audit procedures in areas such as financial reporting, internal controls and risk assessment.
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting frameworks.
• Identify, analyze and communicate audit findings, risks and improvement opportunities to project teams and clients.
• Maintain regular and effective communication with clients, contributing to long-term professional relationships.
• Contribute to team effectiveness through collaboration, knowledge sharing and a positive working environment.
