Responsabilidades

• Fornecer um conjunto integrado de serviços de gestão de risco para instituições financeiras com eficiência e qualidade.
• Definir modelos de governação, políticas, processos e procedimentos conforme requisitos locais, nacionais e globais.
• Auxiliar na definição, monitorização e interpretação de dados com foco no risco.
• Implementar requisitos regulatórios-chave e diretrizes.
• Participar em exercícios de avaliação de risco regulatório e revisões independentes do enquadramento prudencial.
• Identificar oportunidades de melhoria e os riscos que merecem escalonamento à gestão.
• Contribuir para o desenvolvimento da equipa FSRM como mentor e líder de equipa.

EY Financial Services teams ("FSO") have been at the forefront of every event that has reshaped and redefined the financial services industry. The Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice offers a combination of quantitative, qualitative, regulatory, and technology skills along with broad industry experience to our clients. The practice assists financial institutions by driving efficiency, effectiveness, and balanced risk coverage across the organization's governance, risk, and compliance activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Providing a well-integrated broad array of risk management services for financial institutions with a high level of efficiency and quality;
• Supporting financial institutions through the definition of the governance models, policies, processes and procedures in accordance with local, national and global requirements;
• Assisting in establishing, monitoring, evaluating and interpreting data with a risk management focus;
• Supporting the implementation of key regulatory requirements and guidelines;
• Participating in regulatory risk assessment exercises and independent reviews of the applicable prudential framework;
• Identifyingrisk and/or improvement opportunities;
• Understanding andadhering to the clients' risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the clients' risk appetite;
• Identifyingrisk‑related issues that need escalation to management;
• Supporting the team management;
• Contributing to the development of the FSRM team by acting as mentor and coach to the junior members of the team and leading by example;
• Understanding EY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• An academic degree in Management, Law, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or similar financial/analytical fields of studies;
• At least 5 years of experience in risk management analysis and projects, mainly in the banking sector;
• Background in a consulting environment is highly valued;
• Knowledge of local and international banking regulations;
• Ability to work in multicultural projects and environments;
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both Portuguese and English.

Ideally, you'll also have

• Experience in governance, prudential and supervision framework;
• Commercial acuityto develop existing opportunities in clients and identify and explore new ones.
