Job summary

Thales Portugal in Paco de Arcos, Portugal, seeks an experienced professional to take on the role of Solution Design Authority within our Air Traffic Control business area. You will act as the Technical Authority on complex projects, ensuring that solutions meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and Thales product strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in requirements engineering and system design.
• Knowledge of life cycle management for complex systems.
• Experience with ATC or critical-control systems is valued.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for the solution across bids and project delivery.
• Analyse customer requirements and define the system architecture and technical approach.
• Ensure solution compliance with customer needs, product strategy, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Lead systems engineering activities and design reviews.
• Coordinate IVVQ activities and interface with customers.
• Oversee multidisciplinary design teams.
• Support product development and capability evolution for ATC systems.
