Richemont is seeking a talented and motivated Business Analyst to join our dynamic Client & Market teams. This role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams, translating strategic objectives into detailed requirements for scalable, secure e‑commerce platforms.

You will work with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Tech Team Leads to shape the backlog, refine user stories, set acceptance criteria and MVPs, and drive data‑informed continuous improvement across global projects.

Qualificações

  • 3+ years of hands-on BA experience in software development.
  • Understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks.
  • Familiarity with modern agile delivery techniques (BDD/ATDD).
  • Proficient in agile requirements management tools (JIRA/Confluence).
  • Technical background (e.g., database design or API integrations) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Backlog grooming and refinement with detailed acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure Definition of Ready and clear user stories.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications for the team.
  • Identify data-driven insights to improve workflows and products.
  • Collaborate on MVP scope and release planning.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to align on requirements.
  • Resolve blockers and gaps to keep development progress on track.
  • Assess cross-team dependencies for overall solution alignment.
  • Assist in business case, roadmap, and alignment documentation.

Main Purpose

Richemont is seeking a talented and highly motivated and collaborative Business Analyst to join our dynamic “Client & Market” teams. This role is crucial in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable platforms to support Richemont Maisons’ online experiences. You will act as the vital bridge between business stakeholders and our technical teams, translating complex strategic objectives into detailed, actionable requirements. Operating within a fast‑paced, global e‑commerce environment, you will work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Tech Team Leads to shape, prioritize, and refine the product backlog. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of Agile methodologies, a technical appreciation for software development, and a passion for turning complex business challenges into seamless, elegant digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Backlog Grooming & Refinement: Lead product backlog refinement, ensuring user stories are well‑groomed, prioritized, and contain detailed functional requirements and actionable acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure Definition of Ready: Ensure adherence to requirements quality standards, including clear Acceptance Criteria, User Story mapping, and Definition of Ready (DoR) for incoming backlog items.
  • Support Team Autonomy: Support the development team by delivering clear, well‑structured business requirements and functional specifications to enable autonomous, self‑organized development.
  • Data‑Driven Insights: Identify areas for product or workflow improvement using data‑driven insights and market analysis.
  • Release Scope & Planning: Collaborate with the Product Owner / Scrum Master / Tech Team Lead (TTL) in scoping features, mapping dependencies, and defining MVP (Minimum Viable Product) requirements for release planning and timelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business needs into clear technical specifications and vice versa to improve transparency.
  • Impediment Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve functional blockers, scope gaps, and business logic inconsistencies to ensure smooth development progress.
  • Cross‑Team Dependency Assessment: Participate in cross‑team alignment forums to identify upstream/downstream functional dependencies and ensure overarching solution alignment.
  • Strategic Prep: Assist in preparing business case presentations, product roadmap definitions, and requirements alignment documentation for Quarterly Alignment Days.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience & Skills
  • Professional Background: 3+ years of hands‑on Business Analyst experience in a software development environment.
  • Agile Knowledge: Understanding of business analysis practices within Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks (XP, SAFe is a plus).
  • Technical Familiarity: Familiarity with modern agile software delivery techniques that influence requirements, such as BDD (Behavior‑Driven Development), ATDD (Acceptance Test‑Driven Development), and User Story Mapping.
  • Tooling: Proficiency in Agile requirements management and collaboration tools (JIRA and Confluence are a plus).
  • Technical Asset: Technical background (e.g., database design, API integrations) and/or past experience as a Software Engineer is highly regarded.
  • Release Management: Basic understanding of Release Management, software product lifecycle, and feature deployment.
  • Project Management: Experience in Product Management or Project Management is a plus.
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst in large, global e‑commerce projects is highly regarded.

Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business/project management, computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • BA/PM certification is a plus.
Languages
  • Fluency in English (French or other languages is a plus).
