Offer Description

It is made public that, the international documentary contest is open to fill a job in the Assistant Professor category, under an employment contract in public functions for an indefinite period, with a trial period of five years, in the disciplinary area of Mathematics, sub-area of Mathematical Analysis and Numerical Analysis, of the Department of Science and Technology of the Open University (UAb). Applications must be submitted within 30 working days, counted from the business day immediately following the publication date of publication of the public notice in Diário da República n.º 172, de 08/09, Edital n.º 1523/2025

If the doctorate was awarded by a foreign higher education institution, candidates must hold recognition of the doctoral degree, under the terms of Decree-Law No. 66/2018, of 16 August.

Holders of doctoral degrees obtained by a foreign higher education institution must submit, in addition to the document certifying the degree and mentioning the subject area in which it was awarded, a document certifying its recognition or equivalence by a Portuguese institution, by the deadline for submitting the application.
