Bontaz Portugal, part of the Bontaz Group, is seeking an Accountant Assistant to support day-to-day accounting, month-end closings, and treasury tasks. You will maintain records, monitor customer and supplier accounts, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, contribute to process improvements, and grow within a forward-thinking automotive supplier committed to innovation and development opportunities.

Qualificações

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Process, verify, and record accounting, financial, and tax-related documents.
• Reconcile and monitor customer and supplier accounts.
• Support monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory declarations.
• Contribute to treasury management, including payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.
• Support the management of fixed assets and depreciation records.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables and collection activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and document archiving.
• Collaborate on process improvement initiatives and finance-related projects.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal procedures.
