Job summary

Black & White Engineering Limited is seeking an experienced Area Director to lead a thriving office within a global engineering consultancy. You will drive team development, client relationships and the successful delivery of complex projects, reporting to regional leadership.

You will shape business plans, lead multidisciplinary teams, and promote profitability while advancing strategic growth. Extensive experience in senior engineering leadership and data centre projects is required.

Qualifications

• Senior engineering leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven track record delivering complex engineering projects, ideally data centre related.
• Chartered Engineer or progressing toward chartership is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the office, aligning with company values and objectives.
• Develop, mentor and inspire multidisciplinary teams to meet project and business goals.
• Deliver the office business plan in line with regional objectives and growth targets.
• Support successful delivery of engineering projects with emphasis on PM, quality and profitability.
• Monitor forecasts and performance to minimise risk and maintain profitability.
• Drive operational efficiency and effective resource utilisation across the office.
• Represent the business at client meetings and industry events.
