OceanWave Maritime in Funchal, Portugal, seeks an Architecture Manager to lead a team of architects, collaborate with clients, and drive projects from concept through construction. You will create timelines, budgets and resource plans while ensuring compliance with local codes and delivering high‑quality drawings, models and presentations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture, 5+ years in a managerial capacity, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial role in architecture or construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other relevant design software.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations in Portugal.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and lead a team of architects in the development and execution of architectural projects.
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide design solutions.
• Create project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Oversee the production of architectural drawings, models, and presentations.
• Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other consultants involved in the project.
• Evaluate project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget targets.
• Mentor junior architects in their professional development.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and technologies to incorporate into designs.
