NextPartners is seeking an Architecture Manager to lead the design process in Braga. You will work with clients, contractors and the team to deliver projects on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

Responsibilities include managing projects from concept to completion, developing plans and timelines, and mentoring junior architects. Strong English communication is required; Portuguese is a plus; this is an on-site role in Braga.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 5+ years of architecture design/management experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit; knowledge of building codes.

Overview

As an Architecture Manager you will lead and manage all aspects of the architectural design process for our company in Braga. You will work closely with clients, contractors and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee architectural projects from concept to completion.
• Develop project plans, budgets, timelines and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and requirements.
• Lead design meetings and presentations with clients and other stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations and standards.
• Oversee the work of contractors and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
• Review and approve project proposals, drawings and specifications.
• Maintain accurate project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design or management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.
• Extensive knowledge of architectural principles, techniques and software (AutoCAD, Revit).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team toward a common goal.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid work permit/visa for Braga if not a Portuguese national.

Salary

The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
