Nadara is seeking a Research Fellow in Applied AI to contribute to Nadara’s participation in MSCA Doctoral Networks within Horizon Europe. The role focuses on applied AI and data science methods for advancing the digitalisation, automation, and sustainability of renewable energy systems.

Embedded in Nadara’s Innovation & R&D function, the Fellow will work across interdisciplinary projects involving academic and industry partners, aiming to develop novel algorithms, data-driven tools, and

Qualificações

• Mandatory: MSc degree in Applied AI, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Enrolled or eligible to enrol in a Doctoral Programme in collaboration with universities.
• Desirable: prior EU-funded R&D project or research network experience.
• Background in data science applied to wind energy or related engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Design AI-enabled methods for automated sensor data processing in wind assets.
• Propose sensor network architectures for offshore wind farms.
• Develop data fusion techniques for heterogeneous data sources.
• Build monitoring databases linking variables to responses.
• Apply ML/statistical methods to maintenance and operation strategies.
• Support remaining useful life estimation and decision-support tools.
• Collaborate with academic and industrial partners in MSCA DN consortia.
• Report progress and participate in doctoral training events.
• Ensure data governance and IP compliance per Horizon Europe.
• Contribute to publications and conference presentations.
• Assist uptake of research results by Nadara teams.
